Jeremy Wahman – UofL 34 – Wake 24
Hawkins and Hall put up career numbers on the ground. Special Teams scores a TD. 2 INT’S for the defense. Cunningham and Conley AKA the C&C TD Factory keep plugging along and the Cards pull away in the 2nd half.
Shawn Barbour – UofL 38 – Wake 35
UofL gets the season’s first signature win. Micale plays well again, Hawkins gets a hundo again, WRs continue trend of making big plays and Cards win.
Higgy – UofL 35 – Wake 28
Cards defense plays well in the first but second half struggles. Micale & Javian Hawkins have huge games on ground. Dez & Seth both get touchdowns as well. The difference will be our rushing attack will have a field day against the wake forest front 7. I’m anxious how we do in loud environment for this night game. Cards will need this momentum going into Clemson game next week.
Jeff Nunn – Wake 35 – UofL 31
Cards are learning how to win but winning on the road takes time. Especially against a ranked conference opponent. The D line is the key to the game as they have to get pressure to disrupt the Deacons up-tempo balanced offensive attack. Cards are valiant in their fight but fall just short. Look for Marshon Ford to get into the endzone and Hawkins has a big day.
Ben Gumbel – Wake 34 – UofL 24
There are plenty of reasons to be confident that the Cards’ offense will keep them in this game, but to this point the defense has left a lot to be desired. It’s a winnable matchup for Louisville, but they haven’t beaten a ranked ACC team on the road since joining the conference. In a close game, Wake ultimately makes fewer mistakes and prevails at home.
Justin Krueger – Wake 42 – UofL 31
Cards get their share of points, but the Deacons passing game has a bigger day
Daniel Spencer – UofL 38 – Wake 31
Cards Win and they show that they are becoming a contender in the ACC.
Mitch Motley – Wake 42 – UofL 38
Cards have encouraging showing, but can’t score late to win. Wake’s passing game proves to be too much.
Paige Sherrard –
I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.
