Louisville Football officially added a grad transfer OL today. Cam DeGeorge, a 6’4 290 lbs OG is transferring from UConn and will finish his career as a Cardinal.
DeGeorge, who is originally from MA, was a 3 year starter at OG for UConn. He helped a rushing attack that produced two 1000 yard rushers in 2018 according to uconnhuskies.com. That bodes very well for him to be an impact lineman at UofL where the rushing attack is a focal point of Coach Scott Satterfield’s scheme.
The experience that DeGeorge brings to the Cards will help immensely. He adds proven depth to the offensive line that lost a few highly experienced players. With the way Coach Satterfield likes to rotate linemen during games to keep guys fresh, having a player like Cam DeGeorge that is a quality talent to plug in is essential.

Louisville Football Adds Graduate Transfer in DeGeorge
Cameron DeGeorge played in 36 games at Connecticut..

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Cameron DeGeorge, a three-year starter at the University of Connecticut, has signed a financial aid agreement at the University of Louisville to play his final collegiate football season with the Cardinals.
“We are thrilled to add an experienced offensive lineman in Cameron DeGeorge,” UofL head coach Scott Satterfield said. “We lost a pair of starters from last year’s team, and to be able to land a player with the experience that Cameron has will greatly strengthen our offensive line and our team. He has played in a great conference and has over 30 career starts. We are definitely excited to be adding a player with that type of talent.
A 6-4, 290-pound offensive guard from Lynnfield, Mass., DeGeorge played in 36 games for the Huskies, including 33 as a starter.
In 2019, the redshirt junior played in 12 games, nine as the starting right guard. He played an integral part in a 56-35 win over Massachusetts, as the Huskies rushed for a season high 326 yards and 539 yards of total offense.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2018, DeGeorge started all 12 games for a Connecticut offense that posted five games of 400 yards or more in total offense. He assisted the Huskies in producing a pair of 1,000-yard rushers with quarterback David Pindell and running back Kevin Mensah accomplishing the feat. During that season, the offense rushed for 322 yards at USF and added a season-high 365 yards against SMU.
During the 2017 campaign, DeGeorge started 11 of the 12 games he played and helped the UConn offense record eight games of totaling 400 or more yards of total offense, a season-high 596 yards of offense at ECU.
Before joining the Connecticut program, DeGeorge was named Lineman of the Year and First Team All-Cape Ann League Baker Division at Lynnfield High. He was a Boston Globe All-Scholastic pick, leading his squad to the Division 4 playoffs during his senior year.
