Louisville’s depth chart for Saturday’s Pittsburgh game had a few notable changes from last week. There’s a new backup QB and a new starter at corner. Otherwise, it remains largely unchanged from how it has looked the first 2 weeks.

As you can see, Jawon Pass is no longer the backup QB. Since he was scratched from Saturday’s game due to personal reasons, it’s not necessarily a surprise he’s out for the Pittsburgh game. Well, at least not the backup. Instead, sophomore Evan Conley will back up Malik Cunningham. He played well as a true freshman last year stepping in to a couple games in which Cunningham had been injured.
The other notable change is that Chandler Jones is starting again. He will start opposite Kei’Trel Clark at cornerback. Anthony Johnson has moved into a backup role. However, I expect Johnson to see quite a few snaps as will Marlon Character. All four corners played significant snaps against Miami and UofL has proven they like to rotate and play a lot of players.
The Cards look to bounce back from the Miami loss with their first road game of the season at noon at Heinz Field.
