Photo Gallery and Recap: Louisville Track And Field Invitational

If you have never been to a UofL track and field meet, you should attend one soon. It was my first and I really enjoyed the day. I found myself captivated by the pole vault. YOu can catch the Cards at their next home meet, The Clark Wood Open, on April 23rd and 24th at Owsley B. Fraizer Cardinal Park.

It also helped that in the men’s pole vault, Louisville’s Sean Roth was in a battle with a guy from Notre Dame for the win. Roth set a school record but fell just short coming in second place

On the women’s side of the pole vault, the battle was great as Louisville finished 1st, 2nd and 4th. Gabriela Leon won the event tying her own school record.

Men’s High Jump was another event where the Cards excelled. Louisville placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and T4th. Trey Allen set a new personal best in his victory.

Overall, the 2 day event ended with 13 Cards winning their events.

Here are the results as posted on GoCards.com.
