I know that every one of you have seen the Honored Jerseys that adorn Cardinal Stadium. I look up at those honored Jerseys every single time I am in that stadium. Often times I find myself reminiscing about the days that some of those guys played. Contrary to popular belief at CSZ, I am not old enough to have seen all of them play. However, I have seen most of them.

Ibn was one half of the greatest TE tandem in Louisville Football history….Jeff! Stop trying to boot me out….
Maybe it’s just me but after reminiscing about those guys, I can’t help but think why Ibn Green isn’t up there. Am I the only one who thinks that? Surely not. OK, I’ll stop calling you Shirley.

I know some of you will say that all of us at CSZ are just partial to Ibn because he is frequently on our podcast and has been a special correspondent for us at football events. Well, we do like and appreciate him as a friend but I think his on the field accomplishments speak for themselves and are more that worthy to have his jersey honored. Earlier in the week there was an announcement that may make this come to fruition summer than later.
Ibn is the best tight end in school history. While Jamie Asher was very good, it’s not close. Ibn was the best and deserves to be honored. Proof below…
