The Louisville football program has added various transfers throughout the offseason to bolster their squad for the fall. That trend continued on Monday when the Cardinals received a pledge from Syracuse running Jawhar Jordan.
In seven games with the Orange, the rising redshirt-sophomore carried the ball 44 times for 177 yards and a touchdown. The all-purpose back was ranked 709th in the 2018 recruiting cycle (247Sports).
Jordan joins a running back room that is already crowded, but the addition is more of a future play for the program with Maurice Burkley’s departure after this season and possibly Hassan Hall turning pro.
