CSZ Staff Predictions: Louisville vs FSU

Jeremy Wahman

(2-1)*

Louisville 31 – FSU 28

Defense stays steady. Malik continues to improve. FSU is due for a Win at home but the Cards with the game winning FG to win 31-28.

Jeff Nunn

(2-1)

Louisville 35 – FSU 28

The UCF victory took all the pressure off of Louisville for this game. But on the flip side, at 0-3, all the pressure is on FSU. Does that make them more dangerous? I think it makes them more likely to make a mistake or three. FSU does have a great pass rush so I expect the Cards to have a turnover. Yet, I expect the Cards D takes control and Satt to control the clock with the running game. FSU scores late, but Cards recover the onside kick to secure the victory.

Higgy

(2-1)

Louisville 28 – FSU 24

Florida State comes out hungry for a win & they keep it close till Cards running attack slows them down 2nd half. We finally have someone over 100 yards receiving as well. Plus Yaya gets his first sack.

Ben Gumbel

(2-1)

Louisville 41 – FSU 24

FSU can have it’s moments at Doak Campbell Stadium, but they’ve historically failed to pack the house whenever Louisville comes to play on a Saturday afternoon. Cards win comfortably against a bad team in a half full stadium.

Dalton Pence

(2-1)

Louisville 34 – FSU 21

I think the Cardinals finally end their early game drought and score early. This has the makings of a trap game, but Louisville comes out victorious in the end.

Jacob Pratt

(2-1)

Louisville 35 – FSU 21

Cards have all the momentum in their favor, but don’t discount FSU, who will be trying hard to get their first win. However, Cards roll thanks to 3 TDs (1 passing 2 rushing) from Cunningham.

Sam Basden

(2-1)

FSU

I can’t remember a time when FSU football was 0-3. I’m pretty sure the players don’t want to be 0-4. FSU is back at home and are desperate for a win. Louisville though, is coming off 2 straight wins and is starting to build momentum. Although Louisville is starting to show that they are capable of putting up points and be good enough defensively. I’m still a bit uncomfortable with picking Louisville on the road here. FSU avoids going 0-4 and wins a squeaker.

Mitch Motley

(2-1)

Louisville 35 – FSU 24

Cards take advantage of FSU’s woes and capitalize on 3 Seminole turnovers.

Shawn Barbour

(1-2)

Louisville 35 – FSU 21

Cards as long as Malik is healthy. The defense will give up some scores because FSU will give us their best shot, but the Cards will prove to be the better, more cohesive team. FSU is struggling and, though they will play with fire, it won’t be enough to overcome a Cards team that figured some things out last week.

Katie Goben

(2-1)

Louisville 42 – FSU 21

Chubba and Jordan Travis have many ragrets.

Hive

(1-1)

Louisville 42 – FSU 28

I think FSU will control the first part of the game with their rushing attack but eventually our defense will adjust and Malik will have another great game!
