UofL women’s basketball played their lone exhibition game tonight against Union College. The Cards soared to a resounding 106-32 victory over the Bulldogs. UofL was led by Chelsie Hall, who scored 12 points after going a perfect 5-5 from the field including 2-2 from the arc. Hailey Van Lith chipped in 11 points, 4 rebounds, and led the team with 4 assists.
After the game Coach Jeff Walz, Hall, and Van Lith discussed their feelings on the big win, getting back in the Yum Center for the first time since last season, the new-look lineup, the performance of the team in their first game against outside competition, and much more.
