Louisville Volleyball started their run back to a 2nd consecutive Final Four on Friday night inside L&N arena. The Cards took care of Samford rather quickly sweeping the Bulldogs 25-9, 25-13 and 25-12. The reward was a rematch against Purdue on the very next evening (Saturday). The Cards swept the then #9 ranked Boilermakers back in early September. The rematch yielded another sweep by the Cards 25-19, 25-21 and 25 -23.
The Cards advance to the regional semifinal on Thursday afternoon against Baylor inside the YUM Center. Should the Cards defeat Baylor the regional final would be at 4:00 on Saturday December 10th, against either Oregon or Nebraska.
