CSZ Staff Predictions: Louisville Vs Boston College

Jeremy Wahman

Louisville 34 – BC 33

For some reason BC has concern us all they have every year. From game winning fg to beat us here to tearing us up at bc down the middle a few years ago to last year’s thriller for them. They just bring it. Our offense (qb) is almost there & that’s great. We have the weapons. The thing the scares me is the middle of the field & the inexperience of the LB Corp. I think they can get it done though. My heart says we blow them out but my head says be cautious. Thrash & Jordan do their thing and the Cards win….

Jeff Nunn

Louisville 42 – BC 21

BC will be using the close loss to FSU as an opportunity to bring the team together and make them believe they are good. Every BC game this season has been decided by three points or less. Every BC game this season has been at home also. BC gave up 28 points to Holy Cross and 27 points to Northern Illinois so I believe Louisville should easily score well over 30. The fact that BC has played every game close and Vegas set the spread at 14.5 leads me to believe that Vegas thinks the Cards will blow out the Eagles and they want to entice you to put some money on BC by giving you so many points. I think the Cards win and win BIG!

Higgy

Louisville 34 – BC 28

Again this week, Higgy was too busy for any analysis due to an allergic reaction to mixing the McRib and Viagra. Get well soon, Higs.

Ben Gumbel

Louisville 41 Boston College 17

There are definitely some questions being asked about this Louisville team following the disappointing second half performance in Indy. I think we get a few answers on Saturday against a BC team that has not played well at all aside from a close home loss to FSU.

Sam Basden

Louisville 44 – BC 31

Boston College is coming off a disappointing loss to FSU. Yeah, I know what I just said. FSU was supposed to handle BC easily, but the Eagles had other plans. We’re going to see how mature this Boston College team is, will they bring that same energy, focus, and execution into Cardinals stadium? I think NOT, I see the Cards proving that the 2nd half vs Indiana was just a fluke and put together a pretty solid 60 minutes of Brohm ball and beat BC 44-31.

Shawn Barbour

Louisville 45 – Boston College 14

Louisville puts together its most complete performance of the season. While Boston College was able to give Florida State a battle, it was the last of the juice they had left. Jawhar Jordan will have another big yardage TD, Jack Plummer will throw for around 250 and 3 TDs, and Jamari Thrash will have around 150 and 2 TDs. The defense will hold steady and get a couple of turnovers. It still may not be a huge sack game because of yet another mobile QB, but Cards will cut right through BC 45-14.

The CSZ staff consensus average is

UofL 39 – BC 26

Las Vegas Line = UofL -13.5

Over/under = 55.5

CSZ staff predicted average odds Lou -13  Over/Under = 65
