I’ve been provoked on social media to respond about the game. I’m not taking the bait so I’ll say all I have to say here…
10-2 > 7-5. I get it though, UK won the game so naturally everyone will say UK is better. If that fits your agenda, go ahead and run with it even though it’s false. UK was better on one specific Saturday this season, and that is true. The other thing people choose to ignore is that this is UK’s Super Bowl. This is the only game that matters for them. In a normal year, I wish some of our fans felt the same but this year, this game was meaningless when it pertains to this season. The important game is next week. It’s still a rivalry game regardless on how it does or does not impact the season, I hate losing it. It hurts and it sucks!
So to my UK friends I say Congrats on the victory, enjoy it with class, and see ya next year in Lexington. Thanks for reading and I appreciate your support.
