The end result of these games have become predictable. But the fight and effort have definitely improved. It was a noon tip at the YUM Center on Saturday against conference rival Pittsburgh. The crowd was pretty decent considering. Louisville ended up losing 83-70. Mike James led the Cards with 23 points highlighted by his five 3 pointers. But ultimately it was the turnovers that doomed the Cards. 18 turnovers led to 28 Pitt points and that won’t get the job done. Pitt also went 19-21 from the free throw line. Other than turnovers and free throws, statistically, the game was pretty even if you’re looking for positives.
