DJ Khaled said it best “And another one.” Coach Jeff Walz and his staff continue to work tirelessly on the recruiting trail to bring in the next Louisville greats. This time, they hit the jackpot in the person of 6’2 5* (ESPNW Hoopgurlz) and 4 1/2* (ProspectNation) forward MacKenly Randolph. MacKenly chose Louisville over Michigan State and Notre Dame.

Randolph is a strong lefty, who doesn’t shy away from contact. She is a great rebounder for her size and routinely finishes through contact. This season MacKenly has worked on and added more consistency to her offensive game. She is now a legit threat in the mid-range area with a consistent jumper and an evolving jumper from behind the arc.
Last season, Randolph averaged 16.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game on a Sierra Canyon squad that finished 31-1 on their way to a National Championship.

Randolph is the daughter of former NBA star Zach Randolph. He played 18 seasons in the NBA. Zach played for 5 teams during that time. Before getting drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 19th-overall pick, Zach played one season at Michigan State under Tom Izzo.
MacKenly teamed up with the late Gigi Bryant for the late great Kobe Bryant’s Mamba team to win the 8th grade championship. Randolph also played for USA Basketball Under 19 team, where she played with a star-studded group of young ladies. Last year, Randolph played with Juju Watson, the USC Trojan star and 2023 top ranked player.
Randolph joins a recruiting class that will sure to be in the top 10. The class includes Tajianna Avant-Roberts, Anaya Hardy, Isla Juffermans and Randolph’s Sierra Canyon teammate Izela Arenas.
