CSZ contributor Paige Sherrard also writes for SB Nation’s Swishappeal.com and she recently wrote about the UofL women’s basketball team upset loss at Western Kentucky. The Cards dropped to 0-2 on the season and Jeff Walz was not happy with his team’s performance. Here is an excerpt from Paige’s article for Swishappeal.

Well that one certainly was a good start to this big Saturday in UofL sports! The Cards knocked off North Florida 89-61 to improve to 3-0 on the season, and there were plenty of good things to point out from this one.

Jeff Walz and his staff had a huge day for the program, as they signed a top 5 class according to ESPNW/ESPN.com. Three of the five signees are 5-star players. Not too bad! The staff then participated in this video, which is reason enough to go out and support them this season.
