Todd Grantham, Josh Appleby, and James Burgess talked to the media on Wednesday to preview Florida State. Because, why wouldn’t you want to hear from the punter that is making a Heisman run? (If you don’t listen to Ramsey & Rutherford on 93.9 The Ville, you won’t get it.)

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher spoke to the media after practice on Tuesday. He talks about his team, previews the Cards a little bit and says they could very well be 4-1 or 5-0, and talks about Steve Spurrier. Some of his quotes (from seminoles.com) are below the video.
The ACC has announced that Louisville’s next home football game on October 24 against Boston College will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. ET. The game will be shown on the ACC Network, which I believe is usually WAVE 3 locally. Louisville’s next game is this Saturday against Florida State. That will be shown on ESPN at…
The transcript of Bobby Petrino’s time on Wednesday’s ACC teleconference is below. The Cards have a bye week, but there is still plenty to discuss. He talks about how close Lamar Jackson’s recruitment really was, the win over NC State, preparing for Florida State, and more! Opening Statement I’m very proud of our win last…
The ACC has announced that Louisville’s game at Florida state on October 17th will kickoff at noon. TV has not yet been determined, but it will either be on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2. The network will be determined after games are played on October 10. Louisville is off this Saturday. Florida State hosts Miami.
ESPN puts out a weekly power rankings list for the ACC. Although the rankings essentially don’t mean anything, it is good for conversation and good to see where the writers that cover the conference for ESPN see where your team stacks up. I believe I posted their power rankings from a couple of weeks ago…
Louisville freshman Lamar Jackson put up some more impressive numbers on Saturday at NC State. He had 103 passing yards, 121 rushing yards, and two total touchdowns. Here are his highlights from the game.
I can’t remember a weekend in recent memory involving UofL sports that struck so many different emotions: anger, sadness, confusion, happiness, relief, comfort. In true Rick Pitino hyperbole, I will say that this was the craziest weekend in all my years on this planet. (It wasn’t, but hyperbole can be fun) There was the scandal…

If you are like me, you are so jacked up for this game on Saturday that you are wanting to watch as much stuff about NC State as possible just to learn about them and have a better feel for the opponent heading into the game. Here is a video of their head coach’s show…
BOBBY PETRINO: We’re looking forward to going on the road and playing a very good North Carolina State team, a team that’s playing really good defense. They’re big and physical up front. Their linebackers really run and tackle. Basically, the same secondary guys that we played against a year ago. They’re also playing very good offense….
Although he never played a down as a member of the ACC, Chris Redman did play for the Louisville Cardinals, who are now in the ACC. That is all that he needs to be inducted into the 2015 ACC Legends Class. The ACC announced the class on Tuesday, which is headlined by Tony Dorsett, Clinton…
Bobby Petrino met with the media on Monday to discuss the upcoming game against NC State. He talks Lamar Jackson, updates Jeremy Smith’s injury, the offensive line, and more. Transcript from GoCards.com
I should probably put a date in the title of this post, because it could definitely happen a couple more times this season. Louisville freshman QB Lamar Jackson was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday by the ACC. Here is what they had to say about him.
The opening line is out from VegasInsider.com, and NC State is a 5 point favorite against Louisville this Saturday. The Wolfpack are 4-0 heading into the game, but have not really been tested. They beat Troy (49-21), Eastern Kentucky (35-0), Old Dominion (38-14), and South Alabama (63-13).
This was much needed.
BOBBY PETRINO: Well, we’re coming off a tough loss at home against Clemson, a very good football team where our players competed extremely hard and got into position in the fourth quarter where we had an opportunity to win the game and just weren’t able to do it. We had a good practice yesterday, and…
Something that has appeared to be lost on some folks during Louisville’s 0-3 start is that James Quick, easily the most experienced returning wide receiver this season, has missed two full games and the end of the Auburn game. Although the freshmen receivers have been making plays, Quick’s experience has been missed. The Cards may…
