Florida State came into Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium as the 4th ranked team in the country, and at the time was the highest ranked team that UofL had EVER beaten!
I was there and rode the goal post to the ground in the Crunch Zone best game I have ever been to the entire stadium never sat down throughout the whole game!!!
I was there. It is the best football game I have ever attended. UofL players wanted that win so much it has become, for me, a life lesson — sometimes you just don’t give up, and overcoming adversity (the rain and the other team in this case) is what makes the success worth it.
