The University of Louisville has announced that there will be an ACC Celebration Event on July 1 and fans are welcome to attend. The event will take place at Fourth Street Live! on the day that the Cards become official members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and there will be music by DJ K-Dogg, who is the DJ at Louisville football games. The actual program will start at 6:00. According to GoCards.com, the program will include special messages from Louisville coaches and student-athletes, fan giveaways, and plenty of surprises. The Louisville Crashers will perform a concert following the program. Fourth Street Live! will have food and drink specials at some establishments.
Mascots from all 15 ACC schools will be there to interact with fans. They will also visit children at the UofL Autism Center in the afternoon.
