I had to put a time in the title of the post because there seems to be news every few hours with the basketball team and roster. So this is just to update you on what has been going on with the Cards and what we could see happening soon.

*Shaqquan Aaron and Chinanu Onuaku will both return to the University of Louisville. That is very good news as both players could play a big role for the Cards over the next few years.

*Anton Gill will transfer out of UofL. I would expect him to end up somewhere in his homestate of North Carolina, possibly with UNC-Wilmington, who is coached by former Louisville assistant Kevin Keatts.

*Former Cleveland State star Trey Lewis looks like he could be headed to Louisville. He has graduated and is looking to transfer into a bigger named program. Because he has (or will have) graduated, he is eligible to play right away. As a junior at Cleveland State, he led the team in scoring at 16.3 points per game.

He made 96 three pointers this past season. To put that into perspective, Wayne Blackshear made the most for Louisville with 60. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists, so he does more than just score. He is listed at 6’2 from Garfield Heights, Ohio. It sounds like he will definitely visit Louisville and probably visit some other schools as well, but Louisville appears to be the front-runner to land Lewis.

*According to a tweet by Mike Hughes of InsideTheVille.com, 4-star SF/SG Maverick Rowan is now expected to reclassify to the class of 2015. He was originally a class of 2016 prospect. It has been talked about for a while that he would reclassify, and that has been going back and forth lately. If he does reclassify to 2015, the Cards are in a very good spot to land him. He is 6’7 and can flat out shoot and score. When Coach Pitino said they were going to target shooters and scorers, he was not kidding. Pitino visited with Rowan in Florida on Tuesday.

Then there is this, so who knows? Still probably more likely that it does happen.

*Eastern Washington’s Tyler Harvey was another player on the list of transfers that could possibly come to UofL. That will not happen as he is now probably going to declare for the NBA Draft.

*I THINK that is all for right now. I will try to keep things updated as much as possible. Go Cards!
