The roster news continues today for the University of Louisville basketball team. It has been more good than bad, and this news is that freshman Shaqquan Aaron will stay at UofL and not transfer, as some had thought he would do.

So we now know that Aaron and Chinanu Onuaku will stay at Louisville and that Anton Gill will transfer.
The freshman from Seattle, Washington averaged 1.3 points in 7.2 minutes per game. He came in with a lot of hype and was expected to contribute this season, but it never worked out for this year. He was ineligible for the first portion of the season because of an NCAA investigation and never was able to crack the main rotation. Also, he was playing behind Wayne Blackshear and Terry Rozier, so there wasn’t a lot of playing time anyway.
With both Aaron and Onuaku staying, it brings more stability to the team for next season, which will look different than this year regardless. But this certainly does help moving forward.
