Athlon Sports released their week 1 football awards. The University of Louisville Football team has the offensive player of the week with Lamar Jackson, and defensive player of the week with Stacy Thomas. Lamar finished the game with 107 rushing yards, 378 yards in the air and 2 touchdowns. Stacy Thomas had 6 stops, recovered a fumble, broke up a pass and of course had a pick 6 late in the third quarter. Congratulations to both student athletes!
