Cardinal forever and current Pittsburgh Steeler, William Gay, has teamed up with former Vice President Joe Biden to put an end to domestic violence. Kelley Evans with The Undefeated wrote a great piece talking about how domestic violence has impacted Gay’s life from an early age. His mother was killed by her boyfriend when William was just 8 years old. On Thursday, February 8th, William Gay was named to the advisory council for the Biden Foundation, which focuses on ending sexual assault and violence against women, among other causes. You can read more about Gay’s story below and find out more about what the Biden Foundation is set out to do.
William Gay is the real deal – on and off the field. He’s using his voice to get other men involved to end sexual assault and domestic violence. He understands what this fight is all about. I’m glad to have you on the @BidenFoundation team @Southcity22. https://t.co/QbF4Ryf17I
