Born and raised in Louisville. THS, U of L and Sig Ep for life. I appreciate everyday that I wake up. My 2 boys are my greatest accomplishment in life.
“This is the kind of performance that defines the term “one-man orchestra” when it comes to basketball. Peyton Siva did every-freaking-thing to hand Alba Berlin a precious first victory in the Top 16. He came three boards short of a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds and increased the number of possessions for…

Lamar Jackson will enter the 2017 season looking to do what only one college football player has ever done. That is the tall task of repeating as the Heisman Trophy winner. Several players have been invited back to New York as a Heisman finalist the year after winning the award but only Ohio State’s Archie…
All of college basketball is aware of the many tripping incidents from Duke’s Grayson Allen. We have also seen temper tantrums when he didn’t get the call he wanted or when he felt he was unjustly called for a foul. Based on what we have seen, we have all formed opinions about what kind of…
Russ Yeast has been a solid Louisville commit. He even shut down his recruiting and didn’t take his last 2 official visits. That didn’t stop Oklahoma. They offered him a scholarship yesterday via his Twitter. https://twitter.com/russ_yeast03/status/819640835214020609 Here is the article in the Courier Journal article by Steve Jones about the offer.

Most of the top football recruits have already verbally committed to the college of their choice but a few still have not decided. One of those still undecided is wide receiver Jeff Thomas of East St. Louis (Ill). Thomas is rated by 247sports as the #7 wide receiver in this years class. With three weeks…
After a Citrus Bowl loss to LSU, the Cards drop from # 15 to #21. Despite losing the last three games of the season, a top 25 finish to the season isn’t terrible.
Opponents passed against Louisville 31.6 times per game and gained an average of 207.1 yards. The majority of those pass attempts were nowhere near cornerback Jaire Alexander. He has quickly become one of the best corners in the country in only his sophomore year. I would go as far to say that he is a…

The Cards entered the week ranked 6th in the AP poll. After an uninspiring mid-week loss to then #12 Virginia in the Yum Center and a neutral site victory over #16 Indiana, the Cards dropped 3 spots to 9th. The Cards travel to South Bend on Wednesday night for a 9 p.m. game vs. #23…
The season didn’t end the way we had hoped. The Citrus Bowl was supposed to be the positive springboard into next season just as the Music City Bowl was last year. When I saw that Josh Harvey-Clemons, Shaq Wiggins and Trumaine Washington were all in street clothes, I knew the defense would have some issues….

Geaux247 is doing a bowl Pick’em for the Citrus bowl where the LSU fans pick the winner and score. In case of a tie, the website optimistically and cleverly worded how to determine the winner as such, “Tiebreaker will be total yards LSU defense holds Lamar Jackson to.”
I like the red with the White pants a little better but this is still solid. #BeatLSU #L1C4 The Cards will be in all red for the @BWWCitrusBowl tomorrow! 🔴🔴🔴 pic.twitter.com/Z9Q2IroEUv — Louisville Equipment (@UofLEquipment) December 30, 2016
Lamar Jackson put up numbers in a regular season that we have never seen before. Before the season started, we had high expectations based on his Music City Bowl performance, but nobody expected what we all witnessed. Coming into the first game of this season vs Charlotte, sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson had not started two…
