Former Louisville basketball commit JaQuan Lyle, who is somehow still a freshman in college (at Ohio State now after committing to Louisville and Oregon), has apparently confirmed the “gist of allegations” to the NCAA. This is the next big chapter in the scandal saga. From CBSSports.com:
The UofL women’s basketball team held their first practice on Wednesday afternoon. Jeff Walz should have his team ready for another big season, which is becoming the norm here in Louisville for the Cards. Sophomores Mariya Moore and Myisha Hines-Allen gave their comments afterwards.
Former Louisville Cardinal Angel McCoughtry had herself a nice night on Wednesday as she led Team USA to a 79-66 win over the Italian National Team in Rome. She scored a game-high 19 points after shooting 5-11 from the field and 9-9 from the free throw line. More from WNBA.com:
