All week I debated on writing a post about how I expected Kevin Ware to leave UofL after this season. I decided not to because it was such a big week with the UofL-UK game. I didn’t want to put out something negative and take the focus off of the game. Now I don’t have…
It is obvious that our team will look much different next year. Losing such key components like Russ, Luke, Montrezl, and SVT will do that to a team. Pitino expects Montrezl to enter the NBA Draft, and I don’t think that will come as a surprise to any of us. Here is a look at…
I have been up since early this morning and in the grand scheme of things, I haven’t gotten one thing done today. I have only listened to local sports talk radio and been on social media keeping up with everything UofL-UK for tonight. But isn’t that what I am supposed to be doing today? I…
Willie Cauley-Stein clearly does not understand the rivalry between UofL and UK. He said it is the same thing as Kansas and Kansas State. To be fair, Cauley-Stein is from Kansas, but to say it’s the same is a bit ridiculous isn’t it? This is what he said to reporters yesterday. “I think of it…
On Wednesday I did as I normally do and reached out to CardNation. I love to reach out and let you guys be a part of the site. It is a site built for fans by fans. I know what I think will happen on Friday but I wanted to get some different opinions. This…
So this happened on Thursday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium, and then the fans captioned it…
Former Kentucky Wildcat Terrence Jones was asked about the Louisville-Kentucky game on Friday night. When asked about Louisville, he said “What school is that? I haven’t heard of that school. I know we’re going to win because I don’t even know that school. I think we play Wichita State’s B team or something. We’re going to…
Jeff Borzello of cbssports.com took the 16 teams that are left in the NCAA Tournament and ranked the starters from 80 to 1. Borzello says that “It’s not based on potential, NBA prospects, or purely college numbers. It basically comes down to, if I need a player for the next two games or four games,…

It is becoming routine now: Gorgui Dieng records a double-double for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tonight it was in a 107-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Gorgui played a team high 41 minutes and had 15 points and 15 rebounds! The 15 rebounds were also a team high, which is saying a lot when you play…
Per Social Media Director Nick Stover, here are the details for Fridays pre-game events! Go Cards!

The following is from The Tampa Tribune. Apparently the “done deal” of Steve Masiello to South Florida has fallen through and won’t happen. TAMPA — The University of South Florida’s search for a new men’s basketball coach hit a major snag late Tuesday night when USF learned that the man it was set to hire,…

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman is reporting that it is a done deal that Steve Masiello will be taking the South Florida head coaching job, leaving Manhattan after 3 seasons where he went 60-39 in that time. Some people see this as a lateral move, some see it as a step up. I think it is a…
