Recruiting in college sports is a crazy thing. And National Signing Day for college football isn’t until February, so plenty of time for things to change. But Louisville fans got some good news when big-time commit Mike Boykin tweeted the following about his recruiting process and where he stands.
Well this certainly changes things. On Thursday evening, Texas A&M Quarterback Kyle Allen announced that he would be leaving the program and he will not play in the Music City Bowl.
The ACC announced the All-Conference teams as voted on by the coaches today. The Louisville Cardinals have 10 players represented on the teams. Full teams listed below, as well as Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and more.
Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com ranked all of the bowls from 1-40 in terms of entertainment value. That’s right, there are FORTY bowl games. If your team didn’t make it, will they ever? Anyway, the Music City Bowl comes in at #17 on the list. Here is what he says about the game…
Very quick highlight video. Surely someone else will come out with something with at least 5-6 minutes worth of highlights when the season is over. But for now, take this.
Louisville fans got the news that they wanted! The ACC has announced that the Cards are heading to Nashville for the Music City Bowl on Wednesday, December 30. The game will kickoff at 7:00 ET (6:00 in Nashville). The opponent will be Texas A&M from the SEC.

What a good day for former Louisville Cardinals! And on a personal note, two guys that I know, which is pretty cool. Earlier today, Gary Barnidge was named Man of the Year for the Cleveland Browns, making him eligible to win the overall Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes a player for…

P.J. Blue is rated as a four-star linebacker on ESPN, Rivals, and 247 Sports and he just tweeted that he has committed to play football at the University of Louisville in 2016. It sounds like he will be coming to UofL to play safety. He is listed anywhere from 6’2-6’4 and between 201-210 lbs. He…
You all know how the game went. I don’t need to recap that for you, especially a few days after it ended. So no, I will not talk about Lamar Jackson running for 186 yards against Kentucky and leading the charge for a 38-24 victory. I don’t need to tell you that the win was…
Not a huge surprise here, but always good when one of your own gets recognized by the conference in the weekly awards. Lamar Jackson was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday, and here is what they had to say about him.
Already up on YouTube. Happy Monday!
Bobby Petrino was obviously pleased after Louisville came back from down 21-0 to beat Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. Here are his comments after the game. Video and transcript below…
Highlights of Louisville’s 38-24 victory over Kentucky in Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday.
Kentucky was supposed to challenge the Cards in 2006. Not so much. Cards win 59-28.
Pregame scuffle, Kyle Bolin, DeVante Parker. That is your summary for the 2014 game. Enjoy!
“They’ve got more Kentucky players out there than they have Louisville players.” Of course they do.
