For the national media, Lamar Jackson has exploded onto the scene. For those of us close to the Ville we have seen it all along. Flashes against Auburn, Clemson & A&M last year to down right dominance through 4 games this year. He was asked what the biggest difference was between this year and last year to which he responded: I know the entire playbook now. Amazing. He may be a Football player but has fancied himself as a grader of performances. D’s and F’s he has given himself this year. Glad his grading doesn’t determine whether or not he can play. Maybe the single most dynamic player we have even seen here at Louisville and he is just a Sophomore. Some people call him the Football version of Russdiculous. Some have in fact dubbed him Lamarvelous. The shoe fits though. Taking on many defenders at a time and taking the ball to the goal(line), he really does mirror the Louisville legend of the hardwood. We are in for some exciting times here in the Ville so I believe we should sit back, relax and let this season sink in. Leave the trash talking to the guys who need to do that to prove something. We don’t need to talk in press conferences. We don’t need to talk on Twitter. Louisville Football does all the talking on the field.
Some national people have said that he has taken the national scene by storm. ESPN’s Adam Scarborough posted an article today that explains from the national perspective how Lamar has come from nowhwere. I hope you enjoy.

In an article released on SportingNews.com, Russ Smith says he has had limited interaction with Miss (debatable) Powell. “I probably said a syllable to her,” Smith told the Courier-Journal Tuesday night. “I said, ‘Hi,’ and ‘OK, I’ll take the picture.’ The most I’ve done is a picture. They were fans. That’s as far as my relationship goes with them. I don’t know anything cause I don’t know them.”
This case keeps getting weirder and weirder. The girls are suing her currently and Powell will be on a upcoming episode of Outside The Lines Sunday at 9 a.m.
Did you catch Russ Smith’s awesome 50 point performance yesterday for the Delaware 87ers vs the Iowa Energy? Russ Smith scored 50 points for the 87ers (18-22) on 19-of-36 shooting and 9-of-11 from the free throw line, in addition to six rebounds and four assists in 42 minutes of action. 20 in the 1st, 13 in the 2nd, 12 in the 3rd and 5 in the 4th. Russdiculous continues to be Russdiciulous and we couldn’t be more proud. Someone put him on the main roster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just released info on Russ Smith’s RUSSDICULOUS golf scramble on June 20th 2016 at the Hunting Creek Country Club in Prospect. Registration includes Greens Fees, Golf Cart, snacks & Beverages. Working on finding out the price as we speak. Benefits will go to the Russ Smith Foundation, West End School & the F.O.C.U.S. Basketball Academy. Get out, have fun and Go Cards!

The tenth episode of 55. Oh how time flies. It seems like it was just yesterday that you were nothing more than just an idea in my head. I just can’t believe how fast you have grown. Before long we will celebrate your 21st. I can’t talk about this right now. Sorry. Moving on. I know what you are saying…Jeremy has finally lost it, or dude it’s just a story. You would be right either way. I am just glad that this week it was not as eventful as last week and that I will be able to take time out to make fun of Shawn once again….I feel like I neglected him. Poor lil guy. Well here we go. Once again, I share with you the 55 most ridiculous things I have heard, had to debate, or just thought about this past week. This …..is….55

Post Game Wrap Up
Coming into the game, coach Rick Pitino knew that this Oregon team was highly under seeded. Starting out the game, Louisville forced turnovers early and attacked the paint, with all 10 of their first points coming from the paint. Peyton Siva was in early foul trouble and had to sit down. It appeared that the Cardinals would struggle without Siva, however it was the opposite. The Louisville bench stepped up and players like Kevin Ware and Luke Hancock filled in the gap, as the Cards got up to a 24-8 lead early. As time ticked down, Oregon began to chop away at the lead. The Ducks went into the locker room, starving for a sign of life, down 45-31.
