ESPN’s C.L. Brown, formerly of the Courier-Journal, has just released a story on ESPN about the recent allegations on the UofL basketball team. Earlier on Thursday, WDRB’s Eric Crawford reported that a former player said that there were strippers in the dorm room at least one time. In Brown’s most recent post, a former player…

If you missed Rick Pitino’s interview with Terry Meiners, you can check it out here. Terry asked Pitino some tough questions about possibly resigning, President Ramsey not backing him in his statement, and more. Check it out.
Former Louisville basketball commit JaQuan Lyle, who is somehow still a freshman in college (at Ohio State now after committing to Louisville and Oregon), has apparently confirmed the “gist of allegations” to the NCAA. This is the next big chapter in the scandal saga. From CBSSports.com:
The UofL women’s basketball team held their first practice on Wednesday afternoon. Jeff Walz should have his team ready for another big season, which is becoming the norm here in Louisville for the Cards. Sophomores Mariya Moore and Myisha Hines-Allen gave their comments afterwards.
Former Louisville Cardinal Angel McCoughtry had herself a nice night on Wednesday as she led Team USA to a 79-66 win over the Italian National Team in Rome. She scored a game-high 19 points after shooting 5-11 from the field and 9-9 from the free throw line. More from WNBA.com:

Preston Brown has quickly become one of the better linebackers in the NFL. He is only in his second season, but he was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week last week, and had another solid game on Sunday against the New York Giants. In that game, some of the players for the Buffalo Bills…

Well, here it is. Dick Cady, author of “the book” that everyone is talking about these days surrounding UofL basketball, went on Ramsey & Rutherford Wednesday afternoon. I won’t influence your listening by giving a preview or making points here. Listen for yourself and form your own opinion. Should be pretty good!
Sure, it has been a few days since the Red-White scrimmage at the KFC Yum! Center. But in the midst of all of this other talk surrounding the program, and with the football team on a bye, why not talk a little hoops on the court? Plus, I simply haven’t had as much time to…
Rick Pitino went on Ramsey & Rutherford on 93.9 The Ville on Tuesday afternoon. The topic is pretty obvious. Click below to listen.

ESPN puts out a weekly power rankings list for the ACC. Although the rankings essentially don’t mean anything, it is good for conversation and good to see where the writers that cover the conference for ESPN see where your team stacks up. I believe I posted their power rankings from a couple of weeks ago…
Louisville freshman Lamar Jackson put up some more impressive numbers on Saturday at NC State. He had 103 passing yards, 121 rushing yards, and two total touchdowns. Here are his highlights from the game.
I can’t remember a weekend in recent memory involving UofL sports that struck so many different emotions: anger, sadness, confusion, happiness, relief, comfort. In true Rick Pitino hyperbole, I will say that this was the craziest weekend in all my years on this planet. (It wasn’t, but hyperbole can be fun) There was the scandal…
Coach Pitino met with the media after Saturday’s Red-White scrimmage. He talked about many things, including Quentin Snider and Trey Lewis playing together, Mangok Mathiang being out, Chinanu Onuaku’s fouls, and more. He was also asked if the scrimmage was a relief after everything that is going on, so he went into some scandal talk…
Bobby Petrino spoke to the media after yesterday’s 20-13 win over NC State. Video and transcript below.
The Cards picked up a much needed win on Saturday at NC State. Check out the highlights!
