For the second consecutive year, Asia Durr has been named the ACC Player of the Year.
The senior was selected for the honor by the league’s Blue Ribbon Panel and the 15 ACC head coaches.
Durr is the first player in Louisville program history to earn conference player of the year multiple times.
The senior guard leads the ACC in scoring with 21.4 points per game and sits at 13th nationally. She’s also averaging 2.9 3-pointers per game, which puts her at second in the ACC.
Durr ranks second in program history and sixth all-time in the ACC amassing 2,343 points. She also falls second in program history – first all-time in the ACC – with 360 made 3-pointers.
A Louisville player has earned the title three out of the last four years. Myisha Hines-Allen was named ACC Player of the Year in 2015-16.
Yesterday, Durr was named to the All-ACC First Team for the third consecutive year.
