Kei’trel Clark, Louisville’s 4th-year junior cornerback, was selected in the 6th Round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 180th-overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals.
Clark started his career at Liberty University prior to transferring to Louisville for the 2020 season. A three time All-ACC selection (2020 2nd Team, 2021 2nd Team, 2022 3rd Team), Clark set career bests in Tackles (51) and Tackles for Loss (4) during the 2022 season. He also added 1 interception to his final season statline, and returned it for a touchdown. He did all of this coming back from a 2021 season ending ACL injury.
Clark’s season and pre-draft workout performance allowed for him to join YaYa Diaby and Yasir Abdullah as draft selections. He was able to elevate himself significantly in the months leading up to the draft.
