As I prepared to post today’s blog I searched through the annals of CSZ for a picture of a happy or a relieved Rick Pitino. I didn’t find many. The one I did find brought some peace into my heart. Everyone is fighting each other, arguing or just being nasty about the situation. Why I…
Of course after the title of the story I am going to serve you this picture first. I was there and still feel chills every time I watch the game. I have been watching it a lot lately. I digress.. I just wanted to do something to help you through the tournament season. How will…
I love all of the sports at the University of Louisville. All of them. I must admit there are some I love more than others. U of L Baseball is at the top of that list. Baseball is the American past time. I love the University of Louisville. When you take the two and put…
This is a very different and unusual March Madness for all of us in the Cardinal family. We have grown accustomed to winning conference tournaments, NCAA tournament games, Final Fours and even an NCAA championship. With all that success we have made the target on our back bigger and bigger. The more you win, the…
It was a game like no other. Middle school game day at the Jim. We had a mini-Card Fam reunion as myself, Bourbs, Turtle and Beast (Twitter names not real, I don’t think) planned to meet up and watch a ball game. Ran into Tim and Mark along the 1st base line and it was…
Nothing screams madness on the football field like Lorenzo Mauldin going after a QB. Madness is something we are not participating in this year in Basketball. #MonthOfSalt. But as we look forward to Football season coming back around, it makes you wonder. What if college football had a tournament style postseason as well. First off…

Trez had another highlight reel dunk last night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Here it is…… Here is a video of my favorite Trez dunks as a Cardinal. It was put together a year ago before the NBA draft. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Here are a few video links from the Mike & Mike show this morning on ESPN:

There have been many, many takes about the UofL scandal in the past months. Bad takes more than good. Here is the third of the Spring Football breakdowns by the fine folks at @UofLFootball. This one is for the Wide receiver position. Returning everyone in a corp that was young last year makes things exciting as this year we have some second year studs with great Senior leadership like a cherry on top of our WR Ice Cream…

I am only putting this story up so you can hear what John Barr from ESPN’s OTL had to say to Drew Deener this morning on the Drew Deener show on ESPN 93.9 The Ville. I am tired of hearing about it but there are people in CardNation who do want to hear about it….

Those were better times for the University of Louisville, no doubt. Myself, Steve Rummage and Jon Hancock were doing an episode of the critically acclaimed (Let’s roll with it) Cardinal Pulse. It was a video podcast and it was glorious. We did our show from Cluckers on campus at Cardinal Towne. The bracket was revealed,…
