Of course just as I go to lay down for the evening, Russ Smith AKA Mata Mata AKA Based AKA Sir Suadade blesses us with a blog. Not your ordinary blog but a blog worth many awards. Now I don’t hand out the actual awards but I do know good bloggin’ and this exactly that….

Below is the full story on Rick Pitino meeting with the NCAA. You would think that since this scandal has been going on for around 8 months that the NCAA had met with Rick. We self-imposed a ban before they even begun to do their job, in my opinion. Tournaments suck anyways. (#MonthOfSalt) ESPN Senior Writer…
Today for Throwback Thursday I decided to spotlight two guys. One is amongst the top 10 in almost every WR statistic you can find at UofL, Lavell Boyd. He broke many KSHAA records as well at Doss High School. The other was a rushing machine, Leroy Collins. Had he stayed one more year he would…

We all have been wondering since yesterday who would take over Garrick McGee’s spot as Offensive Coordinator at the University of Louisville. I am pleasantly shocked we haven’t seen the ultra-ambitious names that UofL fans have been known to throw in the ring each time a job opens. There was no mention of Steve Spurrier…
Here is the second of the Spring Football breakdowns by the fine folks at @UofLFootball. This one is for the Tight End position. From Jamie Asher, Richard Owens, Ibn Green, Gary Barnidge, Pete Nochta, Gearald Christian all the way to Mickey Crum III the tight end position has been a position that has delivered at UofL. We will have a position by…
Corey Ray Didn’t want to come to Louisville? Dang. Well it’s not what you think and it’s not what I thought when I read that sentence initially. Corey follows in the steps of Jeff Gardner & Coco Johnson as my top 3 all-time favorite UofL hitters. Corey has stole his way to #1 on that…

It has been reported by cbs sports.com that Chinanu Onuaku will test the NBA Draft waters by putting his name in for this years draft. Under new rules players can test the waters and return if it doesn’t look favorable to their liking as long as they don’t sign with an agent. Chinanu is projected…
In an article released on SportingNews.com, Russ Smith says he has had limited interaction with Miss (debatable) Powell. “I probably said a syllable to her,” Smith told the Courier-Journal Tuesday night. “I said, ‘Hi,’ and ‘OK, I’ll take the picture.’ The most I’ve done is a picture. They were fans. That’s as far as my…
