Kyle Bolin to Transfer To Rutgers

Former Louisville quarterback Kyle Bolin has announced on Twitter that he will transfer to Rutgers University for the 2017 season.

Bolin announced his transfer shortly after Louisville’s spring game a week and a half ago. Texas, Cincinnati, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan were also on the QB’s shortlist, but the former U of L quarterback chose to go to New Jersey to play for Rutgers.

We at CSZ want to wish the best of luck to one of the first athletes we started covering from day one. Go kill it Kyle!

Louisville Will Play Rutgers Today at 3:00

Louisville will play their first game in the AAC Tournament on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm ET against 7th seeded Rutgers, who defeated 10th seeded South Florida 72-68 yesterday. Rutgers improved to 12-20 with the win.

The last time these two teams met was on February 16 at the KFC Yum! Center as the Cards won 102-54. Luke Hancock had 25 points and was 6-8 from 3 while also having 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Russ Smith had 7 points. So let me repeat: Louisville scored 102 points and Russ Smith only had 7.

David Levitch played 5 minutes and had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. So had he played 40 minutes, he would have had 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Not too bad. However, he did have 3 fouls in those 5 minutes, so maybe the whole 40 minute thing wouldn’t have happened.

If Louisville advances, they will face the winner of (3) SMU and (6) Houston tomorrow at 7:00 pm ET.

CSZ Forecast: Rutgers

CSZ Forecast: Rutgers

Tonight is without a shadow of a doubt the biggest game on our schedule. Rutgers is the highest ranked team we will play in the regular season and have beaten Arkansas and lost in OT to ranked Fresno State. They may have the best defense we will see this season and do have the best return game we will see this season led by Janarion Grant. The current spread ranges from 16.5-19.5 and the over/under is at under 55. Here is what CSZ thinks the final score will be and how Heisman hopeful Teddy Bridgewater will fair against the Scarlet Knights:

Daryl: 31-21 UL, Teddy will go for 316 yards and 3 TD

Jeremy: 48-13 UL, Teddy throws for 340 and 3 TD

Justin: 49-17 UL, Teddy passes for 333 yards and 4 TD’s

Steve: 52-24 UL, Teddy goes 360 & 4 TD

Go Cards!
