A lot has been made of Teddy Bridgewater’s sudden drop in the mock drafts lately. Mel Kiper Jr., thought to be the guru of this stuff, even had him dropping to the 2nd round. Well it turns out Teddy has been invited to attend the NFL Draft on May 8.
All I am saying is, they usually don’t invite you unless you are probably going to be picked in the first round, and early. There are some cases where a player may be sitting for a while and not get picked when he is expected to, and those times can be awkward. But this at least shows that the NFL people making this decision thinks he will be selected early.
