What an absolutely heart-wrenching game. The game was fun before it wasn’t. The crowd that actually showed up was loud and into it. They even started the “wave” at one point. Louisville had the momentum almost the entire game, but that eerie feeling creeped in when the Cards went to the “prevent” defense and stopped being aggressive from a play calling stand point. The players never stopped being aggressive and played their hearts out. I’ll also say this, this was one of the worst officiated games I’ve seen all season. The ACC refs have been atrocious this year. However, despite the refs, Louisville still should have won the game. You just can’t take your foot off the gas… You just can’t!
