I may be a little late to seeing this, but that’s what I get for being in the 1% of the population that does not have Instagram. Could be an accurate number, I really don’t know. Just seems that way. Chane Behanan posted this on Thursday night with an interesting message. Good to see that…
Fans’ Starting 5 Jeremy’s Starting 5 Steve’s Starting 5 Daryl’s Starting 5 After thinking about it for a few days, I finally made my votes on the poll. I checked up on the results as the week went on, just to get a feel for how everyone else was voting. That clearly didn’t influence my…
Fans’ Starting 5 Jeremy’s Starting 5 Steve’s Starting 5 Justin’s Starting 5 Point Guard Now this wasn’t an easy choice for me. I’ve always been a ‘guard kind of gal’…if that’s a thing. This is who run’s the offense, my favorite aspect of the game. Some of my first cognitive memories following Cardinal basketball were…
Fans’s Starting 5 Steve’s Starting 5 Daryl’s Starting 5 Justin’s Starting 5 I am gonna start this off by being honest. I went to UofL to finish my Bachelors degree from 05-06 and was around that basketball team 365 since I had so many friends on that team. I may be a little biased. I may not…
First of all, thanks to everyone who voted on this. I think it was a really cool topic to vote on and discuss with other fans. Hopefully we can do more of these in the future. On the results, the % is rounded, so it may not equal exactly 100% for some reason. So without…
My friend Chris Tingley posed this question to me a couple of weeks ago, and it is very interesting and fun to talk about. Of all the players that Rick Pitino has coached at the University of Louisville, who would be your starting 5? Now I will say that some players did play multiple positions,…
There is about a 25 year age difference (give or take) so I am not sure how impressive it is. But it is still nice! This happened in the first half of tonight’s game. I honestly think that Earl is just trying to solidify his spot in the Starting 5 of Rick Pitino players at…
Chris Jones will miss his 3rd straight game on Wednesday with an oblique injury when the Cards (16-3, 5-1) take on South Florida (10-8, 1-4) at 7:00 at the USF Sun Dome. Jones is averaging 11.3 points in 25.4 minutes per game this season. He has 47 assists and 26 turnovers. Freshman Terry Rozier will…
This week…..on 55….. The tenth episode of 55. Oh how time flies. It seems like it was just yesterday that you were nothing more than just an idea in my head. I just can’t believe how fast you have grown. Before long we will celebrate your 21st. I can’t talk about this right now. Sorry. Moving on. I know…
Young Russ Smith showing off the handles! Some of this video was shown during the Louisville-UConn game.
Without watching the game for a second time, I will just give my quick analysis and reaction to the Louisville-UConn game. It seems like it is always a close one when we play at UConn and this one was no different. When it looked like the Cards had pulled away, UConn made a late run,…

Cardinal Catch-Up 1/17/14 My e-mail on my phone hadn’t been working right for a few days so today I went to find out why. I got to T-Mobile and just as I walked in to show them what was going on it started working right again. I know, typical. I looked in and seen there…
With the schedule that Ballard High School plays, it is hard to go watch them in person because of all the traveling they do and playing games out of town. So for those that want to see future Louisville point guard Quentin Snider, the opportunity has been there this week at Valley High School in…
Tonight marks a coming home party of a different kind. A long road home with several different twists. It looked like all was lost when he committed to Houston, then conference realignment struck and the basketball gods decided….it will be. Tonight people will cry out Chicken, Chicken, Chicken and not mean it as an answer to what they…
