When Mekhi Becton declared his intentions to skip his senior year and enter the NFL Draft, he also stated that he would not play in the Music City Bowl. Selfishly, most of us fans wanted him to play one more game; mainly because he is so good that he gives us a better chance to…

Born and raised in Louisville. THS, U of L and Sig Ep for life. I appreciate everyday that I wake up. My 2 boys are my greatest accomplishment in life.
We are very lucky and blessed as Louisville fans to have so many great athletes, who are also outstanding people, put their talents on display while representing the University of Louisville; athletes like Donovan Mitchell, Angel McCoughtry, Teddy Bridgewater, Brendan McKay, Lamar Jackson, and Asia Durr (Just to name a few). Mekhi Becton is the…
I really don’t have words to describe this game or atmosphere. At times, we saw flashes of the talent and big play ability this team has. Other times, it resembled last years team. I don’t have the answers for this one but I’m a big picture guy. Last year this team won two games
Jeremy Wahman – UofL 17 – UK -14 Rain holds both young teams back. Dawkins is the bright spot but mother nature is the only one able to contain Tutu and Hawk. If no weather constraints then UK wins. The Higgy – UofL 35 – UK 17 Offense comes out & scores like crazy. Defense…
I’ve analyzed all the stats, trends, predictions and anything else I could find to read and realized that I was simply overthinking it. Trying way too hard to find something that will definitely give me the correct outcome. I’ve found plenty of stats that would indicate UK is the most likely winner. I’ve also found…
This year’s Senior Day went much better than the one prior, as Louisville defeated Syracuse 56-34. Micale Cunningham accounted for six touchdowns, Javian Hawkins ran for 233 yards, and Tutu Atwell reached the 1,000-yard mark for the season. Also in attendance was Justin Krueger, as he and I teamed up to bring you some of…
Jeremy Wahman – UofL 49 – Syracuse 17 Everybody balls out and the Cards get the feel good win that they deserve. Offense scores, Defense scores, Special Teams scores. Go Cards. The Higgy – UofL 35 – Syracuse 14 Dez & Seth have huge games & defense plays their best game of the season. Jeff Nunn…
The fifth-ranked, and 4th seeded, University of Louisville field hockey team beat No. 11 Michigan 2-1 in double overtime at Trager Stadium to advance to the Elite Eight in the 2019 NCAA tournament. Louisville will host Boston College on Sunday at 1:00 pm for a chance to go to the Final Four. Today’s win marks…
Jeremy Wahman – UofL 33 – NC State 24 Cards pull this one out after a slow start. Defense and special teams show out after Cunningham gets hurt for the 10th straight game, but EC6 comes in and deals the rock. Cards end game on a 33-3 run. Javian gets his rushing record with 3…
The Cardinals traveled down to Coral Gables, Fl. seeking a victory to attain bowl eligibility. What they received was a far cry from an invitation to a bowl game. They received a dose of reality. The reality that sometimes it’s just not your day. Now it’s time to see what the Cards are made of….
The Higgy – UofL 34 – Miami 28 Hawkins & Tutu have a huge day in their return to their home state. The defense plays a solid first half before getting gashed in the second half. Ben Gumbel – UofL 28 – Miami 27 The Cards’ New Years 6 dream lives on for another week….

Raise your hand if you thought Louisville football would be sitting at 5-3 after 8 games. Nobody? Not surprising but here we are. While we didn’t expect it, we are not unhappy about it. Before the season, odds of hitting the Powerball seemed better than Louisville making a bowl game. Las Vegas set the Cards…
On Friday November 1st, The University of Louisville women’s basketball team held their annual Tipoff Luncheon at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. There were just over 800 fans in attendance. Sean Moth mc’d the event and after he introduced the team, the fans enjoyed a nice meal that included Cast Iron Seared Chicken and a Chocolate…
Despite the weather, it was a glorious day for the fans who made it out to Cardinal Stadium. Attendance was reported at 48,689. It sounded like 50,000 but appeared to be closer to 20,000. No matter the attendance, the Cards got a big win and I loved seeing the pure joy and emotions of these…
On Friday afternoon at the Kueber Center on Floyd Street, Louisville men’s basketball team held it’s annual media day. Coach Mack addressed the media and then the team was made available in the practice facility after their team photos. Here are a few clips of coach and the team as well as some images from…
Jeremy Wahman – UofL 23 – Virginia 17 Javian gets held to 75 yards and neither team get much going if it rains. Defense grabs 2 turnovers again and Virginia returns one for a TD. This one is slow and ugly and the Cards win. Mitch Motley – UofL 30 – Virginia 24 More offense…
When the Season started I felt the WKU game was going to be the game that told us how much improved this years version of Louisville football would be from lat seasons 2-10 debacle. After barely beating Western at home last year with them mainly playing freshman and sophomores, I felt if the Cards were…
The Cards hosted #3 Clemson on Saturday afternoon. It didn’t go exactly liked all of us had wished for but the Cars fought and hung tough early. The Clemson depth would eventually take its toll. You can read the game recap here. He can hear post game pressers here. You can view images of the…
Jeremy Wahman – Clemson 28 – UofL 24??? The Cards have to play this type of game to have a shot to pull off the upset. We have to force 3 turnovers cash in on every one. We have to limit Trevor again. We will use both qbs and we will have a shot to win but…
