When I first heard that Ja’Quay Savage was transferring to Louisville I was excited. I had seen his play on the field, seen some vine clips and most importantly knew he was the kind of guy that would flourish in a Bobby Petrino offense. He suited up for the Cards in 2015 and I…

Before the season ended all that danced through my head was: If both Fields & Young come back…WOW. Then the Music City Bowl happened. While it looked like it could be an injury that was bad, you just never know in sports. Then came the news. Trevon Young’s dad came out and told every one…
The saying usually goes “better late than never,” and that was the case as #3 Louisville beat #12 Kentucky 7-6 in a wild, thrilling comeback in front of 4,642 fans at Jim Patterson Stadium. A week after Kentucky almost delivered a comeback against Louisville at home, the Cardinals came through with one of their own….
We all saw what the future holds for our football team. We saw it in Atlanta. We saw it in Lexington. We saw it vs Texas A&M. Lamar Jackson is it. We saw him put up video game numbers in the spring game. It’s not just us that necessarily have to see it though. Marques…
We talked a few weeks ago about Terry Rozier and his expanded role on the Boston Celtics. My Boston Celtics. It was a role he earned. We talked about every opportunity he earned and took advantage of. This time it is one opportunity that has fallen into his lap. In game 1 of the…
Even though I was highly disappointed by the attendance, the ones that did show up, showed out. The Cards did too as QB Lamar Jackson threw for 454 yards & 7 Touchdowns on 23-28 p[assing….at the half. Of course it was against the second string but it was evened out a little today so it still…
We had a blast this morning at Cardinal Towne on the CardinalSportsZone show on ESPN 93.9 The Ville! We talked about none other than the Spring Game as we led into the official coverage for the day on 93.9 FM The Ville! Your host Steve Rummage asked which player on Offense and Defense are you…
***Update*** It would be no shock if the Cards got a commitment from 4 Star Dual Threat QB Malik Cunningham this weekend at some point. And it wasn’t because Malik committed today after the spring game. The 6 foot tall QB from Montgomery, Alabama has been high on the Cards for some time now. Current talent evaluator…
As you may have heard on Mid-day with Marques Maybin today, guest host Steve Rummage broke the news on a contract extension for Bobby Petrino for 7 years and 30.623 million dollars. This is a deal that likely keeps Bobby here until he is ready to retire. According to Eric Crawford the new deal…
I’ve been on vacation for a week therefore I have a lot to catch up on so this week’s edition of Nunnsense will be a potpourri of topics. I was enjoying my family time on vacation so much that I didn’t even watch the college basketball national championship game. I knew that since I didn’t…
(By guest blogger, Samaki Walker: pictured) It seems as June 26, 1996 was just yesterday. We were young men eager to make our mark on the biggest stage. We would go on to see Ray Allen achieve great things, Steve Nash win MVP’s, and now Allen Iverson entering the Hall of Fame. Three of…
As you guys know, Alhaji Mohammed is a friend of mine. We go way back. I am going to put that aside for a few moments. I follow what University of Louisville athletes do after they leave as much as anyone I know. Whether it’s in the business world like Chris Current & Luke Hancock or it’s…
Another video from the new Mic’d up series. This time it is the Offensive Coordinator, Lonnie Galloway. Enjoy! Go Cards!
Been busy today repairing my computer but I wanted to update you guys. (From Foxsports.com) Pitino appeared on ESPN 680 in Louisville Tuesday, and said that the investigation is nearly complete. “It’s almost pretty much over,” Pitino told ESPN 680 host Bob Valvano. “I think everything’s behind us right
The NCAA has always been an enemy in the eyes of the student-athlete (IMO). Never really felt like they were the friends of the University of Louisville either. Always dragging their feet on ruling, never making things easy. Remember how long it took for Muhammed Lasage to get eligible for the Cards in 2001? Or the…
Much love to this guy for an incredible season! Go Cards!
Another video from the new Mic’d up series. This time it is the O-Line Coach Chris Klenakis. Enjoy!

Terry Rozier has battled this entire season to get on the court and get what’s his. He’s battled up and down the court and is finally shining. As a UofL & Celtics fan I’m so proud of what Terry has accomplished. We aren’t the only one that’s noticed. Here’s an excerpt from ESPN’S Chris Forsberg’s…
