If you are a Louisville football season ticket holder, the time you are waiting for all season has come. You had to suffer through bad home games like Miami and Florida State, but it was all worth it. Getting wins over ACC opponents like NC State and Wake Forest were just to pass the…
As we enter the final week of the regular season, here is where DeVante Parker ranks in some of the receiving categories in UofL history. We are only left to wonder “what if” when it comes to these records and Parker, as he missed the first 7 games this season with his foot injury. Career…
Where do I start? This is going to be one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. Not because it’s difficult…but because there is so darn much to include. I am going to give it a shot. I will be including a full gallery of my own later today or tomorrow but…

The Louisville Cardinals have signed their first football commit from the 2015 class. Traveon Samuel, a 4-star athlete on ESPN.com, is the first official signee for the Cards. Samuel is from Phenix City, Alabama and is one of the most dynamic play-makers in the class.
It will take winning and some outside help, but the Louisville Cardinals still have a chance to play in the Orange Bowl this season, which is the BCS Bowl that the ACC is tied to. The only poll that matters now is the College Football Playoff Ranking, so that is the one I will refer…
Video of Brian Kelly’s press conference along with the full transcript. He mainly talks about his team, as is the situation with most of these press conferences where they “preview” the opponent. But he mentions some Louisville. Either way, you can learn about the Fighting Irish. COACH KELLY: We’ll have to find ways to move…
This is news that was announced yesterday, but some people may have not heard it yet. Normally, the kickoff time for Louisville vs Kentucky football would have been announced yesterday. However, ESPN has put the game on a “six-day hold” before deciding on a time.
This week on 55……………….. We talk Notre Dame, Basketball’s Opening game and how did your favorite Card teams do in their respective tournaments? Injuries, returns, and a return from suspension?. The first #55Guest writer is displayed and I’m already sorry I gave him the floor. I was wrong about P.J. Dozier, as was every one else…
If you are planning to make the trip to South Bend for the Louisville-Notre Dame football game this weekend, you may want to read the guidelines on tailgating up there first. No charcoal grills, tents with walls, or loud speakers. The biggest problem for UofL fans? Tailgating is NOT allowed after kickoff. Surely this wouldn’t…

Back in July, I posted some of the all-time receiving records at UofL and showed where DeVante Parker ranked in those categories. Obviously, there wasn’t any need to update them during the season since he missed the first 6 games. But now since he is back, and back with a vengeance, I figured it would…
A lot of people recently have been asking about the status of Dominique Brown. It seems like Michael Dyer and Brandon Radcliff have taken over the running back responsibilities. L.J. Scott will get a carry every now and then, but senior Dominique Brown has been nowhere to be found. In fact, he has not recorded…
This week’s ACC schedule of games kicked off on Thursday night, with Clemson struggling to beat Wake Forest. The game was tied with 11 minutes to go before Clemson pulled away. Here are the rest of this week’s games along with the updated conference standings. Thursday (21) Clemson (7-2, 6-1) def Wake Forest (2-7, 0-5)…
I was talking to a buddy of mine earlier about Louisville football. I use to play, he used to play. We were talking about a conversation we had before the season when were talking about Devante Parker beating Ibn Greens Career TD record of 33. I said he would and my friend joked, not if…
This week on 55……………….. I am going to switch it up a little bit. After doing 55 for about a year now, I wanted to do something a little different. I know, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I just want to give this a try. Instead of bringing you 55 facts…
Louisville football will travel to South Bend on November 22 to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. This game is one CardNation has had circled since it was announced a little over a year ago (which shows by the 400 dollar South Bend hotels). Why you ask? Well: 1. Rudy 2. Touchdown Jesus 3….
